Job Description
Oversee existing and new opportunities to create revenue and support future business plans, involving aerospace, defense and security companies such as Agusta Westland, Leonardo, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Airbus and others, with a specific focus on the European market.
Sourcing of raw materials, fasteners, electrical and hydraulic components, metallic and non-metallic parts, spare parts, GSE and all other material with end use on helicopters and civil/military aircrafts. Provision of support services such as repair, overhaul, calibrations and re-certifications; bidding, negotiations and orders management, from the system entry to the final shipment to customers and after sales support.
Use of B2B marketplaces such as ILS or PartsBase for the research of parts in stock.
Perform visual quality inspections on incoming/outgoing material and accompanying documentation. FAA Forms, Certificate of conformity, Test reports, etc..
Ensure proper filing for temporary and permanent import /export licenses with the Department of State or Department of Commerce when necessary.
Represent the company at public and Industry events and build relationships. Business travel within the US and overseas.
